BUDGET ENERGY ANNOUNCE PRICE REVIEW
Budget Energy has announced it is increasing standard household energy prices from 29th November 2018. This is in response to continuing increases in wholesale energy costs and rising network charges.
Budget Energy’s standard electricity tariff will increase by an average of 10.3% which represents a typical increase of £1.00 per week for households .
Ann McEvoy, Operations Director at Budget Energy commented: ‘Budget Energy is committed to keeping prices as low as possible. We held prices for as long as we could to help our customers avoid higher bills but due to sustained increases in wholesale costs and rising network charges these have now been reviewed’.
‘Despite the increase Budget Energy prices will continue to be competitive and we will work to ensure Budget Energy customers remain the most satisfied of any electricity supplier in Northern Ireland’
